good reminder. feed your body nutrients instead of empty calories!

Holy Shit.

I just got my ass kicked at the gym. My friend invited me to workout with her and her trainer. It was insane!! We flipped tractor tires, and did all sorts of other crazy shit. I just got home and I’m already incredibly sore. Also, I weighed myself for the first time in a month and I lost 4 lbs. Not a lot in a month, but I was sure that I had gained weight since I had been eating like crap the past couple of days, so I will definitely take it!! I know weigh 126!! 18 pounds away from my UGW!!! This will definitely help to keep me motivated!! Tomorrow I get trained for my new job and then I’m going to the gym for a Body Flow class and some cardio!! Can’t wait!!

Yoga

So I went to my first YogaFusion class today. It combines yoga and pilates. It was great. I LOVED it! It wasn’t too hard, but I’m definitely feeling it now. And I’m hoping it will help me with flexibility since I have zero. I am definitely going to start going more. I want to get a yoga dvd too so I can workout at home on the days that yoga isn’t offered.

Gym Rat

How do you know you spend too much time working out? When you don’t see the point in showering after a workout because you know you’re just going to workout tomorrow and get sweaty all over again. I think the last time I took a shower was on Monday, almost a week ago. I know it’s disgusting, but I don’t care. Why waste water everyday? But anyways, I think it’s about time I take one, especially since I’m going out later.

Dog Walking

So, tonight after dinner, I decided to take my two dogs for a walk. They are both small dogs, one is a miniature pincher/ chihuahua and the other is a pug. Now pugs don’t do very well in heat because their noses are smooshed in, but it wasn’t that hot out so I though she would be okay. Well… she wasn’t. Half way through the walk she just laid down and couldn’t walk anymore. So I had to pick her up and carry her the rest of the way home. It turned out to be quite the workout. Carry a dog that is at least 10 lbs while trying to control another dog who is not tired is definitely not easy. By the time I got home my bicep was burning, it felt like I had been doing bicep curls for awhile. A simple walk turned into a great workout! So happy I decided to go.
